Love and Liberties...!
Snaps wouldn't suffice.... nor would words exemplify the joi de vivre of the two cute little ones... so much in each other's fond embrace... so much of relishing in each other's sweet company, that one can't live without the other now...
Sometimes, Duffey, three months younger to Shiffey, just climbs and walks over her, much to our dismay, but Shiffey, generous and large-hearted that she is, doesn't mind much about it.. It just allows the little one to do whatever mischief he likes.. except for one thing...
And that's regarding the most cherished fondness and affection from her master. Since she's the elder, (Shiffey the Boss) she makes it a point to get all the love and affection with due priority to her, or else, Duffey's dominion goes for a big six... across the boundary line...!
There she shows him his place..!!!

The Day Duffey met Shiffey...! Unforgettable...!
We were rather keen on growin up the two lovli 'made for each others' separately cos they were just forty days old then. So now, it's been approximately four months for Duffey, and Shiffey is Seven months old, the latter quite mature.
So, after giving much thought, we finally decided that they should meet each other, and the rendezvous was planned at my sister's house. So began my journey to my sister's house along with Shiffey.
Duffey the great was his usual stylish self, when Shiffey, the girl came over. Shiffey alighted from the car by herself, and majestically strode into the main hall of the house, and she was obviously the attraction of the avenue. No sooner did Duffey see her, than he was bowled over by this (or rather 'his') maiden, and it was, yes, you said it... love at first sight. Both were showering kisses on each other...with myself humming "there shall be showers of blessings..." at the background very proudly. I also clicked away some lovli shots of the heartsome twosome.

The Month that was... with Shiffey...!
Shiffey with me here right now, is lying by my feet, obedient as ever, and fond as ever.. She has grown a bit massive, put on a few extra pounds and i've take her on morning and evening walks to shed those 'few extra pounds.' For, Shiffey doesnt like the idea of dieting at all... Now she's a bit grown up, and now he's left meddling around with the little pair of socks, but she's taken to biting wood... hard wood, and only when his piece of bone is not around...!Picture shows shiffey sitting at the side door... giving a pose to her master...!

Shiffey takes Duffey's place...!
Shiffey, my first pet love, has rightfully regained its place with me, after a two month hiatus. In the meantime, she has become so plump that i dare not even think of lifting her as i used to, a couple of months back.Duffey, now under my little sister's guarding eyes, is playful to the core, as usual, and it seems, the moment it sees a car in the vicinity, it immediately starts barking in a raised tone, thinking that its me. So sweet of you dear duffey. Miss u lots.

June with Duffey.. Summed up...!
The last one month was witness to Duffey visiting the Vet once and getting his calcium supplements and a vaccination. He has been asked to come again in a week's time. This month saw Duffey become more and more audible across the house by his barks, and also made his presence enjoyable to us by his numerous naughty pranks.
I for once, had to chide him once thus: rolled out a newspaper into a funnel like, and gave him a gentle beating for prancing menacingly at the love birds and the cockatails which were innocently chirping their way in their domain. He has never dared to venture into their domain ever since in a menacing way! Now he's all wagging only! ;-)
Duffey is very sensitive to words. Polite words make him happy and joyful, and a harsh word makes him sit back and he kinda gives a posture as if he were a bit sulking.
That's Duffey for us in a jiffey! ;-)

Alone..? me? never...!! Duffey's dynamic law:
"Dont ever think of leaving me alone," says Duffey, whenever you move even a few yards away from his presence. Its gregarious nature is a treat to watch. If you tend to ignore the unwritten rule of law of Duffey the great, then you'l have to face the consequences that come after. He will bark and bark and bark until you go near him, caress him, and then apologise for the inconvenience caused.
However, like every law has its own loophole. Similarly, Even dear Duffey has created a small loophole in his law.. and that is... "if ever because of an urgency, you want to leave me alone, just gimme my bone or my favourite chew...and i'll be goodie goodie duffey...! he says in his own cool inimitable way.!

"I gotta be a man...!" says Duff
Duffey has now started biting...and one can hear him saying, "man, i've waited enough.! now i gotta lay my little teeth on something interesting to chew on.!" He bites almost anything that comes along his way... So, we give him his delicious delicacy.. the dummy bone... and there he is... in worlds unknown... enjoying to the core.! And soon after, when it gets bored with the bone, he starts looking for his next playmate... me of course..!

Duffey and Drives...!
Taking Duffey on a drive across the city is a rich experience in itself. He shows off his love to you by being in your embrace all the time, and never for once, takes his little fluffy back off his master. Sometimes, he bites your shirt buttons and lies enfolded in your chest, looking at you, while you give a cautious look at the road in front.
And at other times, he cuddles up beneath your arms and starts snoring in his own cute little way. When you go out shopping, leaving him behind, alone in the car, he starts giving out a whimper which when winked at, waxes into a wail, worrying as to when his master would turn up.
Indeed, Duffey gives you a great sense of solace during such drives across the town.

Decoding Duffey's barks...
Duffey is becoming increasingly fond of his master and affectionate too... so affable that when he barks we can decipher the reason for its bark.. Sometimes a whimper, sometimes a giggle, and at other times a gruffy bark, when he's happy, a solemn bark et al..
Now, he has got accustomed to getting inside the car all by himself without much ado, and yesterday i bought for him a special baby tub in which he's now started freaking out like anything...

Duffey's Favourite Friends...!
Duffey has now grown up a bit, just a little bit, but still the same sweet little one that he is, for us, and now he has become very accommodative towards his favourite new found friends.. the big 3 C's - cats, crows and cockroaches. Even if a cat sneaks its way into his bowl and drinks the milk kept for him, he doesnt bother at all...With an air of satisfied resignation he lets his feline friend take the 'honours.' Neither does he seem to bother even if cockroaches cross its way...
Daily in the morning, he says good morning to two of his new friends... Kalia the crow, and Katie the Cat... to name a few... These two have become a big hit with him that he would never even responds to its master's voice at times, when its friends are around, much to my consternation.
When i ask him gently, 'why dont u respond to my call when ur friends are around?' Duffey replies in a very calm, cool and collected yet husky voice, in his own inimitable style "A friend in need is a friend indeed"!
Indeed i guess what he says is certainly right...! And i cant agree with him more on this point.! :-)
