We were rather keen on growin up the two lovli 'made for each others' separately cos they were just forty days old then. So now, it's been approximately four months for Duffey, and Shiffey is Seven months old, the latter quite mature.
So, after giving much thought, we finally decided that they should meet each other, and the rendezvous was planned at my sister's house. So began my journey to my sister's house along with Shiffey.
Duffey the great was his usual stylish self, when Shiffey, the girl came over. Shiffey alighted from the car by herself, and majestically strode into the main hall of the house, and she was obviously the attraction of the avenue. No sooner did Duffey see her, than he was bowled over by this (or rather 'his') maiden, and it was, yes, you said it... love at first sight. Both were showering kisses on each other...with myself humming "there shall be showers of blessings..." at the background very proudly. I also clicked away some lovli shots of the heartsome twosome.
All was well, untilll.... I went and caressed Duffey. The moment I bent down to caress him, Shiffey couldnt control her frayed tempers. She got so possessive, fretting and fuming in her whining way, telling me thru her stern barks that I amto caress Shiffey alone, and no way her 'rival'...
Then, I gently assuaged her ruffled mane, and then, for once, left the two alone. But they werent the same for the next half an hour. Barks and yells ripped the surroundings, each barking at the other with fire and thunder on each side...
Later I realised that just a gentle stroking of the opponent had done the blunder.
After about an hour, things limped back to normalcy and now after a day, they both have reunited and now the thickest of lovers, as this picture testifies. Hail Mrs & Mr Duffey. (Shiffey obviously has to lose her maiden name from today, as she has been won over... forever!!! :-)
